I doubt it, that sounds like something the safety boards wouldn’t allow. They made it so all cars have to have the backup camera is an example. Radio stuff they have on the wheels / behind the wheel for this reason, same with blue tooth. They even have on some you can’t mess with display settings while the car is in drive. He’s just looking for a reason to bitch about Tesla. Don’t like telsa cars? They don’t buy one - problem solved but Pat types need to find things to cry about

My Tundra won’t let you type on the screen while the truck is in motion. Which is annoying if I’m driving and my kids or wife can’t just type it. Then I have to let them hold my phone. I’m always afraid they’ll find my tabs full of discussion from gun message boards. I’d rather they find my porn bookmarks.

i occasionally do my mom a favor and go take her car to the carwash. theres like 5 fucking things i have to toggle/switch off to even make it through an automated carwash without breaking anything. unfortunately... i think i might agree with patrick on this.
