The problem too is that he wouldn’t even have a case to take to court if he never responded in the first place. It’s a degenerating cycle he’s trapped himself in: People text him > He always responds > So more people text him. If he never responded to whatever the first text was no one would text him and then there would be no case for him to bring up.

I don't know, a part of me thinks what you're thinking but most of me doesn't. Pat doesn't strike me as the violent type. Yes, I know the whole arrest things but it feels more like spiteful talk or gloating like his "TWO KNIFE FIGHTS", not that he'd really have gone through with it. He's a pussy.
