I love the thought of Pat trying to enjoy things but cant because he has been in a drunken haze since the election and has gone full blackpilled doomer. He just sits with twitter and posts all his fears while getting drunker by the minute. Hoping that maybe tomorrow he will wake up and see it was all just a bad dream. Pat has spent his whole life trying to ignore reality that he doesnt like and now he is stuck into at least another 4 years of drunken denial. I think his poor lifestyle is finally going to catch up to him in the next 4 years. He isnt far from pulling a Martin Lawrence and being arrested for screaming in the street naked with a pistol.

Although I think I’m mostly right about my sperging, and he’s entirely wrong about his - I realise I’m just being Patrick. I can’t control anything but my own thoughts and I can keep them to myself.

Some funster nailed it the other day when he said that these people just get off on the thrill of manufacturing the danger in their heads. Without the internet, you look outside and life is pretty dull - you clock in Horton's, get a few warranty calls, go home to your empty shitty little apartment and want to hang yourself.

But if there's a "Children of Men" movie taking place in your head, without it actually being real, then life is exciting!

This is an outdated way of thinking on it imo, I’m stopping my doomer outlook (or attempting to) but in a lot of places now you ARE unsafe versus 10 years ago.
