Step 4- pat uses the information Dan has provided about users and tries to sue/threaten/file a police report against them. The information is all wrong again and pat is once more humiliated

Step 5- Dan is “resurrected” on the forums and becomes a Christ-like figure, having sacrificed his and his family’s anonymity to make everyone laugh

I looked him up a while ago because I actually lived in Somerville and wanted to see if I had ever run into him. I actually considered sending him a LinkedIn invite and having a beer with him, since he seemed like a cool guy.

I think the problem is not so much being doxxed as being hated by everyone. He was well-liked before the podcast went to his head, so having his identity out there isn't going to make him a target for harassment. Ave we all know Pat is too much of a pussy to actually do anything.
