My first girlfriend in Houston was an ER internist. Spent a lot of time socializing with doctors and came away with a theory that they all sort cleanly into one of three camps:

1-Asians and foreigners whose parents made them become doctors; doesn’t tell you much about personality.

For people who actually chose it, they’re mostly either:
2-True altruists who always admired the field and want to save lives
3-The douchiest psychopathic narcissists you’ll ever meet who will openly cheat on their partner with other doctors at a party and then expect everyone to act like nothing happened when the wife shows up. SCUM.
