This is true, now just showing up on time makes you a top employee. Seriously, places are now surprised if a new employee comes in when they’re supposed to and can’t say anything about the late ones.

When I managed restaurants every now and then you would get the N person customers that would demand hot water and clean all the silverware and order everything burned to crisp (well-well done) and of course it was never cooked enough. I remember one time these two black ladies brought their two young kids (this was a casino restaurant by the way) and let the kids run around the restaurant while they looked at their phones. One of the dumb kids took a dinner knife (not even a steak one) off the table and cut himself and the lady threatened to sue the place because and I quote - “You shouldn’t have knives on the table! Kids can get hurt!”
Compete trash. Plus it was 1245 in the afternoon and she was already drunk. Working in a casino no matter what time of year you got black people brining all their kids to stay on a weekday because of free rooms - especially in the winter. You would see random black kids (like 5-6 years old) wondering around at 1 in the morning on a Tuesday because their parents are drunk and gambling,
