The reason she has a career, if we're being fair, is because of Rob Tapert.
Tapert was close buddies with the original Evil Dead crew of Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, and himself respectively (you can throw in Ted Raimi if you want to be nice). That movie got them all started in Hollywood - Bruce in acting, Sam in directing, and Rob in producing, dabbling in writing and directing here and there.
Now, all three were pretty good in their fields. And one day, years later, Rob co-creates Hercules The Legendary Journeys, which is filmed in New Zealand. And oddly enough, Rob casts a then-freshly divorced actress thirteen years his junior to play a guest starring role - and then proceeds to give her a show. Marries her three years later.
Anthony gives iPads, Tapert's out here giving away Kiwi TV shows. Anyone check what Instagram accounts he follows?
