That's my point, admin isn't the FBI, neither are you or anyone else here.
Taking a zero tolerance policy to death threats is common sense everywhere else on the internet. Try going on reddit or twitter threatening to shoot random people and then go "but... I didn't know where they live! You can't punish me!"
You fags are too obsessed with giving each other permission to make death threats, when you have no authority to constitute what's hyperbole and what's serious. If someone said they want to strap me to a machine and make me rap to death, yeah that's obvious hyperbole. "I'll shoot you dead immediately" isn't a very humorous joke to me.

Apparently it wasn’t considering this random fucking boomer was making credible death threats for months on FACEBOOK without being banned. He was literally only banned after he died. But ok, I get it, Admin and all of us aren’t the FBI. If Nobacons threat were credible the FBI will be talking to him. They most likely won’t because I don’t know how seriously they take “If i ever heard your gay voice i’d shoot you”. Imagine if that exact comment were posted on GameFaqs or some other dumb forum. No one would give it an ounce of credibility.
Ok, so what you are arguing for is for this place to have the same moderation as other social media sites. Do you think they take down threatening messages because they’re criminal or because they’re against their terms of service? Most likely the latter.
Again, using the example I just said, If i go on Reddit and say “Want me to slap your asshole with a pistol buddy?” I would probably be banned for salty language. My info would not be turned over to the cops because what I said is not a crime. Why the fuck you would want an equal moderation here compared to Reddit is dumb, especially when, again, this moderation has nothing to do with crime and instead salty language you don’t like.
Once again you just fail to leave in the context that makes it hyperbole. He said he would shoot you if he ever heard your gay rapping voice and came around children he doesn’t even have. So yeah, that sounds like hyperbole to me. You’re focused on the fact that the method of hypothetical killing is a real one and not some fanciful joke.
If I said I want to put you on the guillotine is that a threat? Sure, guillotines aren’t used anymore so it’s primitivism makes it hyperbolic. But its still a real weapon and method of death. If Nobacon said he wanted to shoot you with a Gatling Gun would you take it as serious?

I'm brand new to this place, only know tell of the ole subreddit/never visited, so forgive me for opining as a noob.
But...this place appeals to the Opie and Anthony demographic which is to say the white working class demographic. The FBI has a literal mandate to spend an unfathomable amount of money on "fighting white nationalism [online.]" Anywhere that has white people that isn't highly censorious/allows N-bombs is "white nationalism" in 2023. In their eyes this board may as well be a Nazi Larp Brigade.
In 2010 worrying about stuff like this was paranoid/making yourself sound too important. We were still sorta-kinda a real(ish) country. In 2023, if you don't think the FBI is at least perusing this forum you are out of your fucking mind. For god sakes, they invented an entire hoax to "kidnap the governor of Michigan," got a few morons drunk via undercover and created an entire orchestra.
