He was clearly told early on by authorities that messages on the internet, no matter how mean and hurtful, were not something they'd be arresting people for. He needed something like physical stalking, vandalism, threatening phone calls, swatting, theft, actual threats of violence not just "I hope Pat kills himself" and most importantly he needed names.

So he took his head full of pudding and the police's list of what they might act on, and set about faking all of them, whilst suing to try to get names to give them alongside all his Gay Virgin Fatrick marker graffiti, phony Craigslist chair ads, obviously self-sent voicemails referencing Rahul, swatting he orchestrated through Tor end nodes with his Gemini account and created threats of violence and hitman orders and shit. Once he had racked up enough debt, he also figured if he could trick the MPD for this long, they were probably dumb enough to settle and pay off his windmill tilting expenses.

One one hand I can see Pat being dumb enough to have a hand in the swattings/related (still not 100% sold), but no way is he funny enough to come up with the chairs bit. The self-styled “creative” lacks the requisite creativity.

The writing is Patrick. It sounds like him and he has created an alternate reality version of himself to insult and degrade in the post which is always a tell with Fats.

Nobody here ever said Gay Virgin Fatrick a single time but it was an okay thing to write to himself because he knows he's not a gay virgin. He can write about having a son about the same age as his daughter that hates him for molesting him because it isn't true.

Personally I think he was trying to get someone to attack his house after the charity chair theft stuff didn't get any traction or attention and looked like a false flag beacuse he immediately knew to look for them, knew they'd be stolen and how, and to look on Craigslist and get them back. I think given the timing he was hoping to have this occur on the Worldcon trip so he didn't actually get killed but had a really for real hitman intruder who came in through a window, not the front door to see his SWATTING warning signs.

If you don't think he would go this far, he has done just about everything imaginable up to this point, and is desperate.
