I was assuming posters defending Sam as some sort of successful powerhouse was just a troll but it seems people actually think that.
I didn't make the claim that Sam is an entertainment icon, but he certainly found success in his chosen field. His goal was to be a broadcaster and he is now making, probably low six figures, and has a national radio show.“But Sam is still in radio tho!!!” Really? Thats the bar we’re setting for success?
Look at it this way -- what job would he have to do in an office to make the same? Whatever office jobs out there that make comfortable salaries like what Sam makes are probably more unpleasant than his current gig. Sam could have been a hospital administrator or something, but instead he's doing what he wants. Just because he isn't making a million doesn't mean he isn't successful. Is a hospital administrator making $140K a loser?
