At one really shit and boring and underpaid public-facing job I had in my early 20s, I used to drink several strong black cups a day, just to get a light buzz going, and so I had an excuse for toilet runs just to break up the interminable working day. After 18 months I got free, but the damage was done, I'd wrecked my stomach lining and had to go on B12 injections. One of my less intelligent decisions and coping mechanisms.
Decaf is awful, evil stuff though. They make it caffeine-free using an equivalent solvent to paint thinner, so you may as well have the real deal.

I feel like Jim is one of the few that gets a pass when whining about the military, he gave up his sanity to serve zog and now he lives in an apartment, soldiers have always been people who have no other choice to serve but at least after serving their time they got to live a life of dignity. I understand why people hate the modern military, but at least Jim actually passed his physical fitness tests. He is one of the good ones.
