The DMAN has a nice briefcase, it's breathable but big enough to carry the big ole laptop. A nice briefcase makes you look like a busy man about town. Even in casual wear, "Hey, maybe he's a fancy mobster." It just LOOKS right to see a grown man carrying that simple suitcase shaped object. The DMAN walks down the road, The rain's coming down. He's got the hat on. He's got the briefcase. Feeling like he's about to go tell some bitch he doesn't give a damn about her.

Whereas a backpack makes you look like a student. Is that the image you want to portray to the world? This is how you paint yourself to others? That you "don't know".... That you NEED to be taught. They are not a fully formed adult." Although The DMAN would be all in with the golden Abe double backpack look... Good luck getting shot in the back or in the chest wearing that dual layer security. Sensible, stylish, and what more do you need?
