Thats a tough one man, genuinely. I’m pretty sure that started with Clintons Federal Assault Weapons Ban which limited magazines (that weren’t grandfathered in) to 10. It of course got challenged and each time the Supreme Court struck it down. Even though it ceased in 2004 other states, like NY / NJ, took up on the precedent from the federal level into their own jurisdiction. Now to be fair…State law trumps federal law in NY, NJ and CA regarding gun laws. Why can you only buy fixed magazine rifles in these states and limit to 10 rounds per magazine? Not constitutional you stupid zoomer retard.
