Isaiah 53:2 - “He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.”

A height of 6'1" would have been notable at that time. It's just not realistic.

He can blind you to his majesty or even his presence at all, he walked with the disciples after he was resurrected and didn’t allow them to recognise Him.

The reality is that He does look a certain objective way that could be described accurately, but you see Him as he allows you to view see Him.

If you need see Him as a humble carpenter, who doesn’t stand out from the crowd, that’s what you see, if you need to see the regal intense King of ages you will see that. Many will see Him as a towering blazing inferno of Devine judgment, on a white horse and crowned.

All of the iconography is consistent, and it’s not a 5”1 Ben Dovid lookalike.

You're confusing his human nature with his divine nature.

Either way, posting historical research of the period to “prove” he must have looked a certain way is retarded. He’s the living God and isn’t bound by whatever academic research says.

It’s as stupid as proving the molecular impossibility of water becoming wine or bread multiplying thousands of times because of the mass of it.

It's kind of fucked up that God would make 3 of the 7 deadly sins lust, vanity, and envy, then turn around years later and make his only son the most gorgeous man in all of Israel.

Like I'd hope His divine plan is more complicated than that of Honey Boo Boo's mom. Yeah baby, show off those high cheekbones and tight little ass I bestowed upon you.

But I didn't post academic research. I cited scripture stating that his human form is unremarkable and pointed out that the height you're claiming would be remarkable in 1st century Judea.

Yeah that would be kind of fucked up if church doctrine from the centuries after Jesus' incarnation had an effect on His appearance at birth.

Jesus will be the one judging, rube

I know without any doubt that I will be judged for my actions, and I’ll one day look back and think I knew what would happen, why didn’t I devote myself to being good? I’ll beg to be back here today right now and I wouldn’t worry one bit about anything else.

Yet, I still act the way I am.

We really are evil beings. The grace of God really is impossible to fathom.
