There’s people who legitimately think that you’re stealing from your community if you don’t go to the public school you’re zoned for.

I think home schooling really started when forced busing began during desegregation. It has persisted and even grown even as the country has become—by any standard, if one is being honest—much less racist for a lot of reasons, but the teacher’s unions and their ideological allies who don’t like the competition don’t want to talk about that. I went to Catholic school and would occasionally hear snide remarks about that—even religion isn’t a good enough reason for some people to choose not to send their kids to public.

I think it was a legitimate mindset at one point. Lot of families homeschooled after desegregation or when their neighborhoods had massive demographic changes. But schools were good in those days so it was probably a major downgrade in educational quality to homeschool

Now? Schools are absolutely broken. Even expensive private schools indoctrinate and too often have poor standards.

I’m not religious at all and if I had kids they would 100% be homeschooled or some similar situation.

My sister lives in an area where the poor or disadvantaged (niggers) can send their kids to any public school but if you're normal (white) you're stuck with the local school. This means the niggers have taken over all the best areas' schools. My sister was really left with no choice but to home school.

I only knew a couple kids who were home schooled but it was after they had been in school and said it was because they had “ADHD”(they said all kids were back then) but probably they were just dumb.
