Still makes me angry he calls them “hair metal” like he knows anything about music. Wolfmother was 70s rock inspired like many groups. People didn’t “sleep” on them, they only had like 2-3 hits and were forgotten shortly after since they were pretty forgettable. They open for other acts because people wouldn’t see them by themselves.

If they use Greta Van Fleet in some Marvel cape shit movie he will act like he’s just discovered the greatest band ever.

Last time I heard of them was a couple years ago opening for Guns N Roses on select dates. They were opening for the show I went to and nobody wanted to go in early to see them. Other cities got Alice In Chains and Lenny Kravitz but my stop had Wolfmother. Even opening for GNR couldn’t get them any traction in 2016 and even then piggy still hadn’t heard of them.

It's not nearly as terrible as I thought it would be-- shocked to see QOTSA on his list, but it is the song that most people who aren't into the band have heard of--

Everything he listens to is bland mainstream rock, it has to be played to death on FM radio (I’d put money on Pat still listening to FM Rock radio because his mustang is too old for Bluetooth his music) for piggy to like it. Piggy thinks a “deep track” is Nirvana’s In Bloom.
