Are any of these guitars quality or collectible? I’ve seen him show off one pawn shop Gibson and nothing else He stole one nice guitar when his uncle died but I’m pretty sure he sold it the week after his uncle died.
Back in the reddit days he was bragging about buying knockoff versions of a lot of famous guitars from a website that got them from China. I would imagine a lot of these are borderline worthless. However, if/when Joe eventually sells these I guarantee he will pass them off as genuine and not knockoffs hoping the buyer won't notice. He's a piece of shit so this seems like a likely scenario to me.

What rarities are these models? Does this old bovine have a mini nylon six string guitar you’d buy at Walmart? Lmao

Assuming these are legit guitars, how much do they retail for?
Pretty sure none are legit, no sane person buys 2 $800 strats just to have different colors. Most guitar players his age have found the guitar that suits them or mods their guitar themselves so they sound how they want them. Guys with serious money or pro studio guys seem to have fewer than 4 electric guitars at a time, a gibson sg or les paul, a fender tele or strat and maybe an old Guild or Gretsch. If Joe had any sense he would sell the entire crapload of chinese garbage he has and find himself a nice les paul from the 70's and actually develop an original sound. There is no way he can play a telecaster and his meaty slow hands would sound like crap on a good strat.

As for your question, you can get a les paul for $7-800 but you can also get one for $130 grand if you want a rare ES from 1960. Fenders sell for 2-300 for a basic one.

I'd like to see him try to sell them to a pawn shop or guitar center, they'll offer him half what he paid for them.

Fender and Gibson are just a matter of taste, Gibsons are easier to play for beginners which is why Joe seems to always be playing one. Gibson holds its value more than strats and some classic Les Pauls skyrocket in value, so I would say Gibson. I preferred the regular SG gibson to the Les Paul mostly because it took a beating and didn't look as bad if you scratched it up. If I was a serious player who made a living at it I would try to get my hands on a Doug Irwin guitar.

What planet are you on?

$700 Gibson Les Pauls? What like, trash level LP Studios?

$300 Fenders? Where?

If I was a serious player

You're not even a clown level player based on what you're writing here.

Don't listen to that other guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about. First of all, there's no way to tell from this photo what is legit and what isn't.

"Top of the line" is a matter of opinion. Some people swear by Gibson or Fender. Others by ESP and others Jackson or Ibanez.

"Pretty sure none are legit, no sane person buys 2 $800 strats just to have different colors."

Plenty of people own multiple guitars for just those reasons. Or any reason they want. I own multiple guitars and keep them in different tunings. There's plenty of reasons to have multiple guitars. I own two late 90's LTD Explorers. Why two? One's Olympic White and one's black.

I was just thinking the same thing. No fucking way can you buy a 'real Les Paul or Strat for that. I paid 4500 for mine 7 years ago.

If I had a $4,500 guitar, I wouldn't even play it. I'd be furious over every nick and scratch. I bought a used Solar E2.6c for $400 with case and it's super on par with guitars twice the price, brand new.

There are no vintage ES Les Paul's. They were released in 2015. If you're thinking of an ES350/35 I don't know what universe you think a 60s version costs 130 grand. A mint 58' wouldn't even set you back 130 grand unless you were a very stupid boomer.
Joe claimed he had a 58' ES330 but he's an idiot and they werent even released until 59. You are as big a retard as Joe.
Vintage guitars are such bullshit. High end production guitars are mostly bullshit. 99% of people couldn't tell the difference between a 700 and 5000 dollar guitar if they were both set up well.

I'm sure some are nice, but no matter which way you cut it, it's over-indulgence and he clearly bought multiples of the same models just for the different colors. There's no way he needs fucking 10 Les Pauls all with the same pickups.
He needed to show that Firebird, which we all recognize when he played in front of Payless Shoes

Did you all recognize the Firebird?

I didn’t say there was.

An es 350/330/335 are all Gibson es guitars. And you could easily find one that costs 6 figures. Normally they go for 10 grand in good shape.

You’re pretty fucking stupid it seems. You either can’t understand what you read or you’re just a loudmouth asshole. Maybe both.

But those who can tell the difference won’t buy Chinese knockoffs. I used to be able to tell the difference between a squire strat and a real one but that’s where my expertise ended.

I can understand some of his guitars being needed for his cover band stuff like the explores for the Edge, couple fenders / Les pauls etc but for a guy that has barely written any original music this is just stupid and a waste.

There’s so many stories of famous guitarists like Eddie Van Halen’s Frankenstein guitar was something he found in dumpster he crafted / worked on it to find his sound or Jimi Hendrix teaching himself to play left handed and using his zippo lighter because he didn’t have a slide or Tony Iommi who decided to use heavy strings and tune low because he had lost his finger tips in a machine accident. Willie Nelson’s prized guitar has a hole in it for Christ sake.

Then there’s Joe - who had a little brother that became famous and has been leeching of him ever since. Christ, Joe still has a mortgage on his place that he could have paid off by now if he didn’t waste his allowance on useless guitars and casino trips.
