this is a myth that people keep passing around for some reason. The IRS is already seriously understaffed. They are not going to go investigate an e-whore just because you email them and say she’s probably not paying taxes. They may do it if it’s some big name raking in millions but that’s it.
When you report people the expect you to provide evidence that they can use. Almost all of the real reports come from disgruntled employees who have everything they need to put someone away.
