Bully was better than GTA 4 and 5 anyway, primarily because it was just fun. It wasn't trying to make a statement or be edgy. It was just a fun, goofy game with an awesome soundtrack.
I think I know why I never got super into any rockstar games after Bully. And it's not because I got older and stopped caring about video games, because I've gone back as an adult and played the classics and they were still good.

The worlds are too big. It doesn't feel like I'm "exploring" anything because there's too much.

In Bully, if I found a new garden behind a building or something I'd be like oh shit yeah, this is new. But if I found a garden behind a building in GTA V, I'd be like "okay so? There's gardens everywhere".

Every time I read about some new game and they're like "THE WORLD IS HUGE BRO!" I don't give a fuck and it doesn't make me want to play. The only games I've played recently that I liked were Hotline Miami (small worlds, each level was just a building), and Deadly Premonition 2 (again, small world).

Just to break character the Sims always looked fun to me. I never owned it or played it. A chick I was with at 16 did but didn't want me fucking up her game.
It’s extremely tedious and kind of a game for women. Shit is boring. Oh cool, I can make my character study so he gets smarter. The only funny thing is taking the pool ladders out or trapping them in house fires. That gets old though before middle school.
