I can see this being the same reason why they haven’t made a proper Jimi Hendrix or Marvin Gaye bio-pic - the family is such a pain in the ass to the point nothing will ever be made. I remember reading Hendrix’s family said he not only cant be portrayed doing any drugs but his music can’t be used in any movie scene where drugs are being used. With Marvin Gaye the family doesnt like the fact Marvin was murdered by his Dad being mentioned.

I remember someone said that the whole George Floyd situation was similar to the movie Robocop that there was a plan ready and they just needed someone to “volunteer” by dying while being arrested. Notice since then any kind of police brutality story barely makes news and gets nowhete near the coverage Floyd did. Fuck - I remember they actually broadcast his funeral on multiple TV channels including the 3 major networks (NBC, ABC, CBS)

It won't be about Floyd so much as about Chauvin and how racist he was, even though they literally couldn't find anything racist in his entire career as a police officer.
I wonder if they'll show the seen where the coroner admit's to lying as to the cause of death because he didn't want to rock the boat (as testified to in court) or if they'll say that Chauvin was stabbed 26 times in prison when he started to actually push back against the system and file appeals.
