It's a shrinking demo in a dying medium. When I used to listen to them, their audience was mostly men between 35-90 and now those same people are 55-dead. This is a gambit to pull in people who aren't rounding third base to collecting social security.

This. I completely believe Opie's claim that they reached out to him as well. I'm guessing they reached out to everyone with a pulse who has experience being able to read the call letters, not curse, and keep it from being dead air. And in Anthony's case the "pulse" part was optional.
Has there been any information as to what time slot, what format, and how many hours a week will be total/in studio/etc.
Will there be callers? Will there be guests? (Do they have budget to pay guests?) Is he going to have a producer and/or co-host?
Is it going to be politics focused or a general TACS lite 'Nana Reacts to what the Niggers Did Today?' type show.
