Exactly, I know plenty of husbands that have been to funerals of people they never met yet their wife knew. He has nowhere to be yet stays home for a funeral. We know she doesn’t have friends due to being an asshole and Pat scaring people away so I’m guessing it was someone on her side of the family and that family doesn’t like Pat. That or he’s such a selfish prick he refused to go because the person wasn’t important to him. Could be that

Niki has to make posts on milwaukee community facebook pages to get strangers to help them move things. They have zero friends.
