If you watch Apple’s promo about it on YouTube, you can see it’s a phenomenal device. No, I’m not shelling out 3.5k for that shit but they’ve taken AR/VR to an unprecedented level. It’s an astounding technological advancement that blows away what’s been done so far in the field. Ready Player One is the biggest piece of shit written in the past 30 years, it's so fucking bad it's almost worth reading because future generations may look back on it as a perfect insight into the mind of the contemporary soy nigger cattle male and why civilization failed at this point in history. Also the retard doesn't even understand it because not even Cline saw his universe as a dystopia. There's no commentary whatsoever about artificial reality, the "real world" is completely dropped by the second act so Cline could jerk off over fantasies about being able to act out his favorite pop culture media like he jerks off over "intelligent women" in his poetry where he defines intelligent women as women being into Star Wars. Cline genuinely believes that being in a synthetic reality full of his favorite 80s pop culture media is a good thing and wrote the book just to indulge in the fantasy. I would wager the only reason it's even set in a dystopia technically is because a lot of 80s pop culture futurism was set in a dystopia. Ernest Cline and Patrick Tomlinson are both fat retarded nigger cattle.
