REMINDER: For as narcissistic as Pat is, he is STILL not on the same level of entitlement as Oogie.
Pat claims to not have imposter syndrome, but i’ll give him this: He has written 4 books. May not be good, but he spent time writing 4 of them, having them edited and published. Pat may throw his name in the ring for awards and merits, but he’s not desperate for them. The lowest he goes is signing his own books to sell out of a box.
Oogie? Oogie thinks he should get a lifetime achievement award. Not just a single award, like he has one work he thinks is his best, no. A fucking lifetime achievement. And for what? He has NEVER written a book. He is a fucking story compiler.
When Pat threatened Jon and Adrienne, what did he do when he was confronted by the police? He admitted he threatened Jon and said the threat against Adrienne wasn’t serious. When he was arraigned in court he pled no contest and faced the consequences. (He may deny all this happened today but he had enough self awareness to realize he was in the wrong back then.)
When Oogie got kicked out of the country for breaking the law, what did he do when he was detained and reapplying for a Visa? Claim he was wrongfully detained, the immigration system was oppressing him, and he didn’t do anything wrong and it was the fault of immigration for being incompetent. Not years after it happened mind you, the day it happened.
