I saw on the news yesterday about the whole Biden student debt “forgiveness” a piece on some student who was crying about college debt and how this will help her. Of course the news piece didn’t mention what degree she had or what she did for work because she (like many) go to college and spend big money on useless degree that lead to low paying jobs.

Its funny how college is one of the most socialist institutions in our country and yet is also the most hyper-capitalistic in nature. Anyone who is paying $40k a year for a useless college degree deserves to be burdened with debt.

Going to college is like this cult mindset too. These fags whining about loan debt look down on those without college degrees and instead learned a trade. Which I don't understand why High Schools don't put a focus on that anymore.

All this is about is to breed more young democratic voters. Anyone who went to school for a 4 year STEM degree most likely got a decent paying job where they were/are continuing to be able to pay off their debt in a reasonable amount of time (or ahead of time, because there is no restriction on paying MORE than the minimal monthly payment). The people who will benefit most from this are people who probably lived at college, bounced around degrees over the course of 4-6 years, and used it as one big party. College is expensive, but there are ways many can save by commuting, going to a state school, etc. to minimize the debt. Why does someone who irresponsibly signed themselves up for debt deserve a 10k check any more than a construction worker who has the same bills.
