I seem to remember that warnings about an economic collapse were floating around on Zero Hedge right before the pandemic, but they were ignored since Zero Hedge isn't the most reliable source.

Didn't Trump throw a hissy fit over the Fed not lowering interest rates pre- pandemic as well? Typically, lowering interest rates is a means of keeping the economy afloat.

It makes sense to me that politicians would use the opportunity of a pandemic to coverup a massive bailout of the same greedhead assholes that had to be bailed out in 2008, but like you I am merely a humble Panera man and know not the ways of the world...
