I wonder if different strains confer different immunity.

Supposedly if you had Alpha or Delta, you had some immunity to Omicron BA.1 and BA.2 variants and their sub-varients. Now supposedly there is no immunity with the Omicron BA.4 and BA.5, which is even more contagious and even less severe than all of the other variants so far. Most people's symptoms are runny nose, sore throat, fever, fatigue, and body aches. How is it still considered SARS if there's virtually no respiratory symptoms? How did I have it and not know until days into it, and why did nobody else I was around get it if it's so contagious? There's a lot of bullshit going around, you see?
