It depends on how you're interpreting it. I read this as "60% of Whites are vaccinated"...which is likely correct. Source: I'm White and I observe White people. My guess is that many more White women are vaxxed than are men.
If this attachment is referencing total population, then it's flat out dishonest. Which would not surprise me given it came from MSNBC.

What that is saying is that they are changing from the original test which ONLY tested for COVID to a new test that will test for BOTH COVID and influenza.
It is NOT saying that the old test would treat a flu case as a positive COVID test. You could have the flu, but not COVID and the result would just be negative. Now they have a new protocol that will test for both and differentiate between the two.

The problem you’re having here is trusting “Main Stream Media articles”. These people push agendas for corporations and government. Just the fact that money exchanges hands at all gives credence to scrutiny. If you believe in any level of journalistic integrity you would understand it’s near impossible in this system. It’s a near impossibility especially from the corporate press. They have 0 reason to tell the truth when they’re the biggest sellers of what people perceive it as.
