I understand. My question I suppose what the inciting incident will be. Most people while struggling will never be motivated to get into the streets while their lives are semi-comfortable. As long as the groceries stores and gas stations still have their goods, nobody will do anything. That’s what my original post is about, those days are coming down the pipe, make no mistake on it.

You don’t want to be in the cities when they do. Our grandparents and their parents could brace for these events, it wasn’t perfect but largely as a diaspora we were Christian, intelligent and rational, rations could be mostly safely administered.

Those days are gone, we have violent selfish low educated people now. They were almost killing each other over made up shortages of toilet paper, imagine when it’s real shortages of food and medicine.

I don’t know anything about that, I’m inclined to agree - but I know for a fact the real damage on the ground while history heals itself will be a brutal reality check for us all.

History is just people, and we’ve become wildly complacent that “nothing ever happens” or it only happens to people in history, like it’s some kind of video game without consequences.

The people ruining this country will murder you, rape you, paralyse you in the streets for no reason now and the state mostly endorses it, can you begin to imagine when they’re actually desperate for basic necessities that aren’t just being given out for free now?
