- Mr. Tomlinson's 2021 lawsuit was funded in secret by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, a 501(c)(3) charity, to the tune of $100,000 without the knowledge or consent of their donors or members. They also agreed to pay any sanctions in case he lost (which he did).
- All parties involved signed NDAs so that the general public would never know.
- To this day, SFWA has never acknowledged its funding of the lawsuit, and actively instructs the few people in the know to ignore all inquiries into it.
- Is the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America funding Mr. Tomlinson's lawsuit against the Milwaukee Police? If they are, the general public probably wouldn't know due to their history of funding expensive lawsuits in secret.
- You can use IRS form 3949-A to report SFWA's activity if you reasonably believe that it is illegal for a 501(c)(3) charity to secretly fund frivolous nuisance lawsuits for one of its members.

- Mr. Tomlinson's feud started after members of the now-defunct Reddit site r/opieandanthony got his Twitter account suspended, causing him to threaten some bored trolls who never heard of him with a libel lawsuit. The trolls responded predictably.
- Mr. Tomlinson has been instructed many times by friends, family, police, and attorneys to stop engaging with his trolls, and that continuing to provoke them will cause him to be trolled even more. Mr. Tomlinson wilfully ignores this advice
- He would eventually file a defamation suit against 60 anonymous people which was dismissed with Mr. Tomlinson being ordered to pay $34,762.25 for opposing parties' attorney fees.
- He ended up paying $83,736.99 due to his unsuccessful attempts to dodge the court-ordered judgement, for which he faced jail time and contempt charges.
- He also filed 2 frivolous restraining orders against people who had engaged in First Amendment-protected behavior (one for texting him and another for attending his contempt of court hearing), both of which were dismissed.
- Early on in the lawsuit, Mr. Tomlinson vandalized his own motorcycle and submitted a false police report blaming the people he was suing.
- He accidentally sent surveillance video of the alleged vandal (himself) to a troll.
- Mr. Tomlinson has never shown this video footage during any of his media tours, and desperately tries to scrub it from the internet.
- Mr. Tomlinson claims that the surveillance video was initiated by his "motion-activated" camera, which only collects "30 seconds at a time", despite the video being 32 seconds long and beginning several seconds before the "vandal" enters into the frame.
- On 13 April 2023, the individual responsible for calling the fake emergences (SWATs) to Mr. Tomlinson's house, a SWAT-for-hire dealer named "Torswats", revealed that Mr. Tomlinson ordered the SWATs to his own house because he wanted to get in the news and sue the MPD for money.
- Torswats would repeat these allegations in private chats which were not intended for public view.
- Mr. Tomlinson has gone on multiple news tours since the SWATtings started in order to promote his victimhood brand, utilizing the services of Lenora Claire.
- He also recently sued the MPD for money.

It's an .apk so I'm not sure. I've never used Apple. There's plenty of info on the vanced sub tho, I had to update Vanced a few weeks ago due to redundancy in the version I had and they had info for installing stickied. Their latest project is modding the actual YouTube application so the original version runs without ads meaning MicroG will no longer be needed. I'd have given it a try but i was in a rush, I'd already uninstall the original YouTube when I first got the phone and didn't have time to go into adb and unblock it.
Quick Google, Vanced is not available on iOS. There's a few shady alternatives which I can't speak for.

Nah they sell Huawei all over the world, might have picked it up in an airport but it was 4 years ago now.

In that case download Brave browser and use the YouTube mobile site, I just checked it can do background audio like a podcast app, just click the 3 dots on top right and turn on "enable background audio"
turn on the adblocker called "Brave shield" too if you want to get rid of ads on YouTube

Trump banned any US listed companies from supplying or collaborating with Huawei in around 2019. The reason why was bullshit, effectively the CIA made a tit for tat deal with Apple to gain access to their decryption keys for locked devices in exchange for banning Huawei who were aggressively outputting hardware 3 years ahead of their competitors at 2/3 of their price point. While they couldn't outright ban consumers from buying these products they could ban US registered companies from collaborating with them. This meant any device produced after 2019 could not include Android or any other Google (or Windows) services. Huawei had to invent their own OS but without basic appstore included regular Joe couldn't do online banking/games/facebook/whatsapp/uber etc. Huawei were smart enough to use the android open source framework enough that you could sideload any android applications you wanted and they'd probably run but this requires a bit of work and Huawei basically would have ended the way of Blackberry (who I also love) and Betamax were it not for developing countries who don't give a shit about apps and just want a kick ass camera with a 100x telescopic zoom.
