It's not a police issue so it's a choice by the sun newspaper . BBC probably can't come out and say due to HR but I am guessing even with evidence the sun doesn't want a lawsuit if it's nonsense or the 17 year old was basically a sex worker and other than it being seedy isn't someone finding a vulnerable random person

Lots of people throwing out lists and clues on Twitter. The Sun apparently said it’s a married man on a six-figure salary who was supposed to be on The One Show this last Friday and was kept off air. On Thursday’s edition, they said Huw Edwards and Lenny Henry would be on the couch but only LH made it. The presenter was also said to be at a recent awards night with BBC execs and there are photos of who was there floating around but I don’t care enough to look. Sounds like it’s the Welsh one, not shocked as the ones I’ve gotten to know were all nasty pervs.
