It's unreal that Artie basically was near-death after Stern and Nana thought it was a good idea to hire him, he's so fucking dumb.
People are glossing over the fact that he was on Ant’s show and Judd Apatow’s Crashing on HBO at the same time. He fucked up his nose after getting the show and before* the start of it too which was an unfortunate mishap.

Retartie was a Howard guy, and in Howard's world, O&A were copycat faggot losers who ripped Stern off and were the enemy. So he went into A&A already hating Nana, and fully expecting him to be a retarded hack. It was very comical how Artie would do those dumb interviews with the local NJ newspapers around that time and not even mention A&A at all.
Artie hated Stern at that point. He had been on Ow/J and bashed Howard as well as on his podcast. I really think he just saw it as a paycheck and was pissed at Keith for fucking him over with the subscriber bonus. Artie used to do shows with Norton from time to time when he was on Howard and they both had no animosity towards the other show. It really was never their battle per se.

I think if Anthony had a successful network at some point then Artie would've respected him a whole lot more but Artie kind of went from working with one of the greatest hosts of all time who always had something big going on or a big guest on or whatever to Anthony's show where it was very casual, nothing big was going on and the guests were for the most part less famous and reputable than Artie.

Artie had a pretty big audience when he did his kitchen podcast. It was bigger than all of cm. He claimed to be making more with the podcast than he made with Howard. He fucked it up because he could never make it from his bed to the kitchen to do it.
