I’m sure Nana would turn him down, he’s so well known for dealing with confrontation well. He'd even drop by Anth's apartment and ask for $20, even though he was getting paid $100k a year.

He’s told the story a few times and you’ll be shocked to hear that he gave Artie the money.I’m sure Nana would turn him down, he’s so well known for dealing with confrontation well.

To be fair, Ant also paid Artie hundreds of thousands of dollars directly out of his own pocketand Nana sat there hooting and tittering like a complete retard, totally unaware.
Mork and Mindyeveryone knows the best comedic bonds are forged only by a mutual hatred of a wig wearing yenta and a crippling addiction to godfather references
And didn’t this kind of hurt Nana and Gavin’s partnership? It's unreal that Artie basically was near-death after Stern and Nana thought it was a good idea to hire him, he's so fucking dumb.
I always thought it was pretty funny how Retartie obviously hated Nana, and didn't take him seriously as a person or a host at all. Along with blood and pus, he just oozed disdain, and Nana sat there hooting and tittering like a complete retard, totally unaware. Unless he did know and did it anyway, which makes him even gayer.
It was odd -- I get that Artie was a drug addict so he wouldn't be reliable, but he still could have at least been respectful to Ant or mentioned his show occasionally. I wonder what the deal was. He might have just thought the network sucked lolReminder that Artie never mentioned Cumia or their show together on any interview he gave. Nor was the AA Show mentioned at all when Artie checked into rehab again or whatever. Makes my smile.
As has been said. Artie saw Ant and his network for what it was and took advantage of Nana at every turn like the pussy old queen he is.It was odd -- I get that Artie was a drug addict so he wouldn't be reliable, but he still could have at least been respectful to Ant or mentioned his show occasionally. There were talks about Artie being pissed when the show started. From what I remember, the story was that Artie had it in his contract that he would get a cut of the income from all the new subs that would join after they announced him joining. Keith then leaked that Artie was going to join and a lot of people subbed. But because they hadn't made an official announcement about Artie joining, he wouldn't get anything from the new subs. By the time they announced it, everyone already knew that the show was going to happen and had already joined. So Artie was pissed because they fucked him over.It was odd -- I get that Artie was a drug addict so he wouldn't be reliable, but he still could have at least been respectful to Ant or mentioned his show occasionally. That's a great point I never considered. Wouldn't put it past John. The handful of times he went on the AA were hilarious. Artie demolished him. John wouldnt even think of jokes, he'd just make cruel observations about arties personal tragedies. Made arties jokes hit that much harder.Artie got paid back for all those years of giving cash to moochers. In reality he just grabbed the money ktc and slobrojoe we’re going to pilfer anyway.
Am I the only one who believes stuttering John made a point of getting large sums of cash from Artie in the hope that Artie would die before he had to pay him back?

Retartie was a Howard guy, and in Howard's world, O&A were copycat faggot losers who ripped Stern off and were the enemy. So he went into A&A already hating Nana, and fully expecting him to be a retarded hack. It was very comical how Artie would do those dumb interviews with the local NJ newspapers around that time and not even mention A&A at all.It was odd -- I get that Artie was a drug addict so he wouldn't be reliable, but he still could have at least been respectful to Ant or mentioned his show occasionally. Lol I never heard that. So Artie was actually justified in not giving a fuck. That's hilarious. What a fucking terrible way to start a business relationship. There were talks about Artie being pissed when the show started. I liked that he was on that Hot Ones show while he was doing the one with Anthony and didn't plug it. The host didn't mention it either.Retartie was a Howard guy, and in Howard's world, O&A were copycat faggot losers who ripped Stern off and were the enemy. For pennies on the dollarBut they got a billboard
LOL exactly. Artie was literally a dying junkie, and even he was ashamed of being associated with Nana Cue-mia. He did a puff interview with the Newark Star-Ledger, and they asked him what he was up to, and he named everything but A&A. Meanwhile Nana was printing crates of shirts and mugs that are probably either still in his garage or in some landfill now.I liked that he was on that Hot Ones show while he was doing the one with Anthony and didn't plug it. People never even knew Shane Gillis had a show on Compound because he never once promoted it on another podcast. People are embarrassed to be associated with him and his shitty network, including degenerate junkies.
