No, so here's what happened.

We didn't even know Rick had emailed that. Only that he'd posted it to Twitter and asked other people to email them.

So Pests emailed them.

What MSG received was Rick's email we didn't know existed saying there was no threat or boycott, followed by a bunch of absurd Pest mail, followed by Rick's CCd replies saying "This is where your life ended."

And he wonders why the cops were involved.

None of this happened. The NYPD barely has the manpower to handle actual crime in their own jurisdiction. They're not wasting a detective's (presumably) time on this.

They'd need to A) be browsing the internet or have his tweets sent to them, B) figure out who Patrick Tomlinson is, C) find his number, D) ignore his area code and assume he is from New York, which is odd because if they researched him enough to find his number they'd know he lives in Wisconsin, E) call him to ask him questions, F) ignore jurisdictions and state laws and question someone from Wisconsin instead of handing it over to the FBI, G) find out who he is married to and question her even though she wasn't involved in his tweets, H) hope that he answers his phone, I) hope that he doesn't hang up immediately.

Pests email warning of the veiled threats Patrick is making about the event or just silliness.

Patrick replies to each and everyone instantly in a manner which seems to be telling them their lives will end at MSG using the same email as his original one with his face as the contact photo.

MSG obviously report it to the police.

Patrick is baffled the police call him.
