You told her enough for her to decide if its a dealbreaker and she hasn't left yet.

If she's never been around the scene then it kinda doesn't matter. There is no real concept of what the life was/is other than non/fictionalized accounts in various media and PSA's which all vastly range from how bad to how awesome it can/could be.
