There is no real concept of what the life was/is other than non/fictionalized accounts in various media and PSA's which all vastly range from how bad to how awesome it can/could be. Without going into gory details and having no frame of reference it may as well be kaballah or some shit.

If it was stimulants like coke or meth or something you're probably fine, if it was opiates you'd probably want to be specific with her in case there's some issue with you being hurt and the hospital giving you morphene or something.
