I don't use Twitter, but doesn't the DM function also have a "message was read" feature that lets you know if the other person saw the message? I don't know if it's checkmarks or text that says read, but if it has that feature, she 100% posted the Swedish guy's DM on the swatter account. Because otherwise there would be an indication on his sent message of whether it was read or not.
