I have the same experience, but we all left our home town and I'm pretty nomadic so I don't stay in the same place too long and I'll have weird experiences where I'll just get messages like "I think I saw you. Did you grow a moustache?" It will turn into a lunch date.

I haven't talked to or hung out with any of my friends since like 2014. I just don't feel like it and they don't either I assume. I happened to check my Facebook messages last night for the first time in forever and saw I had a message from one friend from back in July that said "I think I'm going to beat the fuck out of (other friend) and go to jail."

I'm always terrified about drinking with my neighbors because they're black and a few drinks make me really racist and say racist shit. They invite me for beers and I typically go "no. It's okay".
