I've reached the point where I think they're all not really trustworthy and online privacy is basically an illusion, although my understanding of this topic is pretty flimsy to be honest witcha. Maybe someone with a better understanding could chime in with some insight.Fawk i been using them for almost a decade
Well of course they're going to comply with court orders. There isn't any VPN out there that operates as a magic shield from prosecution for blatantly illegal shit. If you're gonna conspire to commit actual crimes with your copmagnet revolutionary larpgroup, probably best not to openly do so on a private platform that can easily be subpoena'd by the authorities. That's what they want you to think lmao, they got some Frenchie arrested, euro scums are untrustworthy

So what's the point of paying for a VPN? Essentially you are paying for them to ip log you while having your credit card and all the other extra info, the FBI used to have to find some nigger in a pool of 50k ips but now it's down to 5 people that paid for NigVPN in the areaWell of course they're going to comply with court orders. What I'm getting at was that those laws prevent the company itself from fucking their users over in ways like those based in countries without those provisions can, whether deliberately through shit like datamining or by accidentally leaking private info because of negligence.
Can I ask why do you need a VPNI use Windscribe. They have deals every so often. I paid $69 for two years. There are so good they never have to advertise on podcasts.
Here is my referral code. Use it or not, I don't know what it gets me: https://windscribe.com/yo/jtviuy9l
