If Eminem retired with Love The Way You Lie & Not Afraid, he’d be regarded as one of the best ever. Relapse & recovery weren’t really great, but could’ve been a closing chapter for him.

Then he made Revival which completely alienated half the U.S. and he never recovered (ironic) from it. Kamikaze tried to salvage it but didn’t work. And we got “no love” “Venom” “rap god” which all sucked.

Then he became the NFT guy & meme restaurant owner and he’s killed his legacy trying to be cool to zoomers, who already hated him because that’s who their parents liked.

1. His hair is obviously CGI’d on. Dude is loaded, get some hair plugs like MGK.
2. One thing I do like is how he always rehashes 30 year old grudges. Going at Benzino by calling him broke and gay is funny.

5. Overall I give it a 5.5/10. Bar is pretty low because he’s been disappointing for the better part of a decade.

Granted, there were no "mainstream" rappers on Eminem's level in 1999/2000, but any underground rapper could've made a career for themselves and clowned him by just pointing out that he's white trash. I don't think Interscope Records would've been happy with that, and it's all a work anyway, so it's all very gay.

He had a pretty good beef with the underground horrorcore rappers like esham, cage, necro, icp. Problem was nobody gave a fuck about any of them but icp. Cage is a good lyricist but nobody ever really heard his response disses. Em got 86ed from the underground horrorcore scene which hurt his feelings but not his wallet, because pop rap made him way more fucking money. He still took that shit personal because he did consider people like esham and icp influences.
