I don’t have much time to play games anymore so I’m way more choosy about what I do play. As a result I can’t be fucked playing retro stuff even if I love it.

That's actually why I play a lot of retro games. They don't take 40-50 hours to beat like a lot of modern games do

buy an old wii and jailbreak it, you can install tons of retro emulators on them and you can use a gamecube controller or a wii controller. look up "letterbomb wii jailbreak" for a super easy method

Every new game is just a big open world empty map with survival crafting shit. Or it's a dark souls knock off. Or a shitty tell tale style story based game with little to no gameplay.
