What’s the difference between the three different types of tianeptine?

I take Adderall (20mg immediate release) in the morning and red vein kratom at night for chronic pain and sleep. But always looking to enhance the stack. White vein kratom can give me a boost but it can also make me puke.

I read today that apples are better for waking up than coffee but I haven't tested it yet.

The caffeine tip that changed my life (but I’m sure is old news to many of you) was to wait 60 - 90 mins after waking before taking it, in order to prevent an afternoon crash. I used to take 200mg caffeine with my Adderall first thing every morning and I’d be struggling to keep my eyes open. I actually wondered if I had some kind of thyroid malfunction or chronic fatigue. Now I have no such issues if I just wait.

Coffee is for closers.

I don't suggest you get into that garbage tbhwitcha. Just make some poppy seed tea or something if you have to be a junkie.

Man, I have been going on about this in my personal life for the last few weeks. Its been a life changer for me. No more fending off mid-day naps like an old man with a filled diaper (I need my changing table, Stent. You fuckin bastard <3)

I've tried modafinil, phenibut, kratom (doesn't really count, but whatever), piracetam (did nothing), lions mane, good quality green tea, L-theanine, rhodiola (did nothing), ginseng, maybe a few others.

What I am saying is the only "smart" drug is "no" drugs. Ya dig?
I hear you. I’m just too attracted to the promise of more focus and energy, and frankly to any kind of buzz. I don’t drink but got into Rick Simpson oil last year and loved the effects but it made me so lethargic and unmotivated. Can’t say I wasn’t warned.

L-theanine is one I buy for the insomniacs in my life. I first used it in combination with caffeine (which can make me way too anxious) but it made me sleepy even in that combination. I will pop a few if I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t fall back to sleep.

Do you rate phenibut, lions mane and ginseng?

I’m glad I’m not the only one who wants to shout this from the rooftops. Literally nothing has improved my energy levels like this pause. I don’t generally listen to podcasts so that Huberman Lab clip I stumbled upon via IG was a real gift.

I don't know about all the other shit but be very careful with phenibut abuse. It has a long halflife so it's easy to overdo it and then get hit with some gnarly shit a couple of days into it.

Phenibut WDs are something else, but it’s an interesting drug.
I’d never heard of it until now. I’m afraid of getting addicted to anything but it seems relatively low-risk.

I’d never taken hallucinogens until about six years ago when a friend had a reliable hookup for DMT. It kind of ruined me for all other substances because it was so mind blowing. But I’m always looking for the next approximate experience, so I’m interested in nootropics but usually get annoyed by the research and don’t buy. Doing a shroom trip in a few weeks and am looking forward to that.

Phenibut's cool, but I think it's really expensive now? It's a bit like being drunk but with mental and physical clarity. It makes music sound good and makes you really horny. I'd do it at work sometimes to sweep away the cobwebs. Then, I'd take a smaller dose at night and that is very, very effective for sleep.

I've cooked with lions mane and it does seem to do something. I bet it would be good for memory stuff. Like learning foreign vocabulary. I wouldn't be surprised if those expensive shroom tablets worked. If you took 2 or 3 things as good as lions mane together, yeah, that probably would make you sharp. Even oily fish and nuts would probably add to the effects. A low-carb, meat-free lunch with berries, nuts, oily fish and a few select mushrooms. I bet that would get you through the afternoon.

Ginseng - I've never had the expensive stuff, which is wild and more valuable the more it resembles the human body. But I did once buy some gingseng tea that came with a bottle of 'ginseng cream'. That stuff was strong! I'd take it before going out. It was like a can of red bull. I think ginseng tea can help with the afternoon slump. In China, it's for old people and winter and, it is an adaptogen, so that kind of makes sense. You might have better luck with it if you're feeling a bit sick, or run-down. Green tea in the afternoon is good as well because it's not got too much caffeine. Sometimes I'll have a caffeine-free energy drink in the afternoon, or a an effervescent vitamin-C tablet.

This is all extremely useful, thanks for taking the time and effort to elaborate. I have some shopping to do.

I always want to make sure I’m getting the most out of these things but finding reliable guidance on methods and tactics can be hard. With ingestibles like kratom and THC I always fast for three to eight hours first before taking, then eat a meal with protein and fat. If you know any reliable Huberman-type sources who issue advice on this kind of thing, I’d appreciate any names. Thanks again for the input.
