It’s about the idea of “reasonable force”, not “take the beating”. If they punched him in the face and he punched them back and magically the situation stopped i don’t think it would be that bad. If the kids stabbed him in the arm with a knife and then he gutted them it’s still “reasonable”. But the idea that a boomer getting slapped around by some teens and he just starts shanking them is what a jury might look at as “excessive” which is exactly what they’re trying to accomplish.

They are somehow able to sleep at night knowing they have utterly and completely destroyed entire families and left children with no parents over technicalities in the law, gray area cases, and shit where the "perp" did exactly what 99% of people would have done in their shoes.
