Reading up on the case. Defense is gonna lay foundation that he has medical issues and that helps. Curtis Reeves, the boomer who shot the guy in a Florida theater after a verbal disagreement, was probably exonerated because he was able to show that his feebleness made him use deadly force

They'll just argue he was confused and thought he was fighting for his life. I doubt they will put him on the stand but I'd put my own money that they have a medical expert on their witness list who will break down the video and explain how repeatedly getting pushed in the water triggered a fight or flight reaction (or even that he was disoriented by a lack of oxygen) and he merely reacted to end the assault. His defense lawyer is really fucking good. When Rittenhouse team really needed someone to look really bad or really good on the stand he did the questioning.

How the fuck most states don’t have stand your ground is insane. There are states like California where if someone breaks into your house and you shoot them dead you could be charged with murder. It is legitimately fucking ridiculous.
