Chances are, there wasn't shit in those albums. Trading cards are like that, we've all heard the stories about someone finding out they have some million-dollar card in their collection, when in reality it was full of a bunch of common garbage and "rares" that top out at five bucks a pop. The most valuable cards tend to be unique promotional ones given to tournament or sweepstakes winners. Not even those really obscure Pokemon cards that were only sold in Japanese vending machines a quarter of a century ago are worth much more than a full tank of gas.A few years back maybe even 10 years now I guess half the garage sales I went to had a binder of these or Pokémon’s and goddamit I was just there for some cheap tools. Got a snap on ratchet for a dollar and a bunch of garbage otherwise while I’d be laughing to the bank with these stupid cards now
