WWAWD incorrect saying of SNES?

I've only ever played NES because I got a handed down good condition console. SNES and N64 both passed me by, I was too young.

I was raised by my parents, and then later by the PS2. I only ever saw the phrase "NES" or "SNES" in that one Pokemon game where he has the console in his room.

And I read it as Sness. If you're going to have an acronym, usually you put little dots. Why didn't they put the little dots is really the major question. I was too young to understand the reference, I felt like our Sue Lightning.

Had this conversation with a younger relative and was told that I must be uninformed when I said nobody ever called it "snesssss." Was legitimately seething at my recollection of 90's life being questioned 2nd hand via faggot youtubers.

I'm a Genesis fag though. I know SNES has "better" graphics but I always thought all the sprites in 90% of their games looked pretty gay. Made the screen look darker or something too.
