Good beats and lyrics, plus a midget. What's not to love?
The album cover is a graphic picture of member Bushwick Bill in the hospital. Bill was shot in the eye as he and his girlfriend tussled over a gun. Bushwick Bill wanted her to kill him and during the altercation he was shot as both hands were on the gun.

This is my favorite Geto Boys song. He basically describes getting pulled over by a female cop, getting her number, and fucking her. Plus, Beyoncé is in the video as one of the background girls. She was 14 at the time.

I didn't really know about them until Office Space but they're definitely really underrated. They're referenced by a lot of different groups in the 90's. We're they popular and I was just too young to know at the time?

I wrote a parody version of Mind Playing Tricks on me after Apostlegate. It was called “SpaceEdge Playing Tricks on Me”
Verse 1 was Patrick, 2 was Seth Simons, then 3 was Patrick again talking about Annabelle, then 4 was Paul Weimer. It was one of the most embarassing things I ever did.

Grip It on That Other Level is one of those rare rap albums that's good enough to let it play from beginning to end. It's kind of like the southern nigger version of Paul's Boutique. The following Willie D lyrics have been stuck in my head for the last 30+ years:

Willie D is a real ass dude. I very much enjoy his VladTV interviews.
Geto Boys are great. People always talk about Scarface, but Willie D was always better to me. Willie D wrote their most memorable lyrics. Plus I love anything that has a midget involved.
