Yeah the derailleur is the thing I was talking about earlier that would get screwed up and it'd fuck everything up. I don't get it either. I was trying to fix my ex's bike for her a couple years ago and I was watching a bunch of youtube videos and shit. I had to be like "I don't fucking get this. There's literally a severely autistic man in my town who repairs bikes and understands this shit. I'm gonna take it to him." Shattering the illusion that I'm useful.

I watched a video on it years ago and the thing pops up in my recommendations periodically just to question my masculinity.
