He’s right but not when it comes to the Visas. We have a culture that doesn’t place an emphasis on intelligence. Cultures like Indians and Chinese do. Why do you think we poach so much of their doctors? And it’s not like being a heart surgeon is something anyone can do.
But coding? Is that seriously something only the top 1% of geniuses can do? I can pay any third world nigger on Fiver to build a website. Plus we sort of are putting more of a value on higher education ever since most of the low education, high paying jobs were shipped overseas. Every kid got railroaded into college and told “learn how to code”. So i’m not even sure about the connection he’s making.
