Great show. It made white liberals very uncomfortable, as I recall. It also called out all the Obama hype as manufactured bullshit for the status quo.

I just watched a Huey Freeman Christmas from season one - and I remembered it as being a really forgettable Christmas special, and in general a weak episode - false fucking memory - it is, at least so far, the absolute most morally ambiguous but well written shit in the world of Boondocks and a very high quality rewatch in 2023 considering the subject is replacing Jesus and Santa with black people, and the kinds of people who want that.

It was a great show. As far as leftist satires go it's probably one of the funniest ever made. As others have said though the 4th season was awful. The stories felt super outdated by the time the episodes aired and the characters were starting to become parodies of themselves (Huey in particular). Sucks that the reboot got canceled because they would've had so much material to work with.
