I just wanted to let you know that this right here kickstarted a musical obsession that I should have had 30 years ago. Been spinning the live country album at work for weeks, now moving on to the other stuff. I got some pretty funny looks from people overhearing me sing along.

They opened with that in Vegas when I saw them for the first time last month. It was a way better show than I thought it would be, largely because they don't repeat any songs over those three day runs and who knows if I'm gonna hear any of the songs I want? Well they played a lot of them and it was great. Those Jews did a great job. I Can't Put My Finger On It was insane.
The old ball and chain and I were not able to get there very much before the show, same with my buddy that met us there who Ween is his favorite band that he's seen a bunch, who happens to be 9 feet tall. He's milling around talking to people before the show with like 10 minutes before start time and I'm like "shouldn't we go try to obtain some real estate on the floor? The impression I'm getting is these will be tough mofos to get in front of" and he's like "nah, I got this." He has my wife grab his shoulders, I grab hers, and he Dig-Dug us through thousands of people all the way to the second row, where everyone around got instantly pissed(they'd been waiting for hours and he's 11 feet tall). All these hippies started yelling and shoving and moving in front of us all aggressively lol. We were moved back probably 15 feet before people stopped being totally furious with us and let us stay there. My wife and I were like wtf just happened. Sure enough the show starts and we are in a great spot for view and for sound. This dude right by us took out a little paddle and was giving lines to his buddies off of it during Roses Are Free. Never seen that before. My humongous 14 foot buddy went to get a drink after a few songs so now people were even less pissed at the wife and I for being there and we no longer had to feel like we were screwing with peoples nights. Although I didn't care too much about bothering most of these people, because if you've ever been on the Ween sub, most of their fans are annoying faggots.

SO many wasted years not listening to Ween. I honestly can't figure out why I never gave them a chance, maybe my preteen/teen faggot self didn't think they were tough enough or something, so I listened to fucking Limp Bizkit and ICP. Instead of jumping in front of a tractor-trailer, I'm going to go fucking see Ween the next time they come near me. $75 is a lot for me to pay for a concert ticket, and I'd surely go alone, but fawk I'm gonna do it!
